Common questions

Why do you show a colder number than my weather app? Weather apps show the air temperature 2 m above ground. On clear, calm nights the ground – where your plants are – is typically 2–4° colder. We estimate that from the forecast's minimum temperature, cloud cover and wind, tuned to your garden.

I didn't get a warning, but there was frost. Answer "Yes, frost" in the app the next morning – that adjusts the estimate for your spot. Also check that notifications are allowed in Settings → Frost Tonight.

I got a warning, but there was no frost. Answer "No frost" the next morning. A few answers make the estimate much better for your garden.

How do I cancel my subscription? Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Frost Tonight.
